Midwives are experts in caring for healthy, low risk pregnant people and their babies. We believe that pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding are normal, family-centered events.

Model of care

Informed choice - you are supported to make choices about what you want for your care.
Continuity of care - you are cared for by the same midwife during your pregnancy, birth and postpartum. You are able to contact your midwife 24/7 with concerns.

Appointments

Prenatal appointments:
Appointments are 30-60 minutes long.
They are monthly until 28 weeks, every 2 weeks until 36 weeks and weekly until baby is born. We offer the same labs, ultrasounds and tests as doctors.
Postpartum appointments
Home visits 3 times in the first week after baby is born.
Visits are done at 2, 4 and 6 weeks in the office. Physical assessments are done for mom and baby.
